Dr. Kasper Kok is Assistant Professor of the chair group Soil Geography and Landscape of Wageningen University. His main area of expertise is the development of integrated, multi-scale scenarios related to a number of issues including biodiversity, climate mitigation and adaptation, and water. His key interest is in improving (multi-scale) scenario-development methodologies, using qualitative and semi-quantitative methods in a participatory setting. He is involved in the development of the new IPCC-guided Shared Socio-economic Pathways for the Fifth Assessment Report. He has extensive hands-on experience with the scenario development process in Latin America and across Europe.
