Grigory Nikulin

e-mail: [email protected]

Grigory Nikulin is a research scientist in the Rossby Centre (SMHI) and his main research activity is analysis of both global and regional climate models. A large part of his research focuses on how the statistics of weather and climate extremes may change in the future under different climate scenarios. Involved in analysis of climate information in many European and international projects (IMPACT2C, HEALTHY FUTURES, EUPORIAS, SPECS, SIDA-ESCWA, and CORDEX) his current focus is on providing climate information for impact studies. He is WP leader in the FP7 project EUPORIAS and a member of WRCP CORDEX Scientific Advisory Team.

Activities in GLOBAQUA: SMHI provides all climate simulation data to the GLOBAQUA project. In particular it takes part in WP1-DATA and WP2-SCENARIOS.

David Lindstedt is a researcher at the Rossby Centre, SMHI. He works with development of the new regional climate model system HARMONIE-Climate. His main research interest is convection and precipitation variability and extremes in high resolution climate models. He is working in EU projects like ECLISE where he study extreme precipitation events over the island of Crete and HELIX which will study the impacts of high-end scenarios (above 2)

Activities in GLOBAQUA: SMHI provides all climate simulation data to the GLOBAQUA project. In particular it takes part in WP1-DATA and WP2-SCENARIOS.

Renate Wilcke is a PostDoc researcher in the Rossby Centre (SMHI) and her main research activity is the analysis of regional climate models. Her two focus areas are the selection of models out of ensembles of climate models and bias correction of climate models. She is and has been involved in European projects (VALUE, IMPACT2C and EURO-CORDEX) by bias correcting climate data for climate change impact studies. She is WP co-leader in the VALUE: COST Action ES1102.
