Peter Grathwohl
e-mail: [email protected]
Prof. Peter Grathwohl is Full Professor of Hydrogeochemistry and the Vice President of the University of Tübingen. He is Speaker of the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) CAMPOS (http://www.campos.uni-tuebingen.de/) which started in 2017. He was Coordinator of the EU funded projects AQUATERRA (6th Framework Program, 2004-2009). His research interests cover the fate and transport of pollutants at the laboratory and field scale (incl. catchments scale). He is Geologist by training and holds a PhD in Applied Geology.
Activities in GLOBAQUA: He leads WP4-GEOMORPH and collaborates to WP3-HYDROL, WP5-QUALITYCHEM, WP13-DISSEMINATION and WP14-MANAGE

M.Sc. Binlong Liu is a PhD candidate in the Hydrogeochemistry group at the University of Tübingen who works on numerical modelling and lab experiments of sorption/desorption processes limited by film diffusion, intraparticle diffusion or film-intraparticle coupled diffusion processes to simulate the redistribution of pollutants in heterogeneous systems. Binlong Lui holds a Master degree of Applied Environmental Geoscience of Tübingen University and a bachelor degree of Chemical Engineering of East China University of Science and Technology as well as a Bachelor degree of Environment Engineering of Fachhochschule Lübeck, Germany.
Activities in GLOBAQUA:
He contributes to WP4-GEOMORPH and WP13-DISSEMINATION
Marc Schwientek

Dr. Marc Schwientek is a Senior Research Scientist at the Department of Geosciences at the University of Tübingen. He is responsible for the determination of chemical inventories and contaminant loads at the catchment scale (incl. the degradation potential of micropollutants). He is also working on hydrological mechanisms and on the development of novel sampling techniques. From 2004-2008 he was a Employee at Helmholtz Centre Munich, Germany and from 2008-2010 Environmental Consultant at AMEC Earth and Environmental (Kaiserslautern, Germany). He is Hydrologist by training and has a PhD in Hydrology.
Activities in GLOBAQUA: He collaborates to WP4-GEOMORPH, WP3-HYDROL, WP5-QUALITYCHEM, and WP13-DISSEMINATION.
